Exact shape | T8 360° The first thing you notice about the Philips TL-D Super 80 is the low investment costs. This product is extremely competitively priced. But in addition to the low investment costs, this fluorescent tube also has:
Dimensions and wattage consumptionIf you want to place the fluorescent tube in your current fixture, the size is of course very important. This tube is 59cm long. Fluorescent tubes always have the same wattage consumption for a certain size. Fluorescent tubes of 59cm always consume 18W. Common G13 FittingThis TL-D tube has a G13 fitting. This means that the pins are 13mm apart. The tube itself has a diameter of 28mm. Are you looking for a thinner tube? Then view our T5 fluorescent tubes. These have a G5 fitting, where the pins are 5mm apart. Installation of the G13 fitting is easy: you slide the tube into the fixture and turn it a quarter turn. The tube indicates which end should go into which part of the fixture. Suitable for conventional and electronic ballastFluorescent fixtures always use a ballast (ballast). This ballast can work in two ways: conventionally, also known as electromagnetically, or electronically. If you want to install this TL-D tube in a conventional fixture, you must also install a starter. By checking whether there is room for a starter, which can be seen by a small hole in your fixture, you will know whether you have a conventional or electronic fixture. Light color: warm whiteThis fluorescent tube has a light color that we call warm white. It is a color of 3000 Kelvin that is often used in catering, but also in halls, corridors or stairwells. It is a warm light that appears welcoming. The color rendering of this tube is >80 Ra, which indicates that colors appear almost real when this lamp shines on it.
