- Turn the locking mechanism knob on the automatic dispenser and remove the lid.
- Discard the used refill cartridge and replace with your chosen new fragrance.
- Press the red reset button once to make the dispenser effectively accept the replacement cartridge.
- Select or deselect the photocell option.
- Replace the lid and turn the knob to lock the lid again.
